This concert series will fill that gap right here in Kitchener Waterloo, inside the Centre In The Square. For far too long, there’s been a lack of meaningful Urban entertainment experiences for Gen X and older Millennials—people who grew up with the smooth beats, heartfelt lyrics, and iconic artists that shaped our lives. This is about giving our generation, and everyone who loves the music of that era a space and opportunity to enjoy the music we loved and the memories tied to them, right here at home.
This isn’t a corporate venture; it’s a personal mission. As someone born and raised in Kitchener-Waterloo, with a lifelong passion for Urban music, I’ve dedicated more than 20 years to the music industry.
Over the years, I’ve successfully organized concerts that brought names like Serani, Mr. Vegas, and Konshens to our community, proving that there’s an appetite for high-quality Urban music events here. The R&B Chronicles is the next step in continuing that vision.

One of my goals for the R&B Chronicles is to make these concerts as accessible as possible. However, it’s important to understand that securing artists of this calibre comes with significant costs. These are performers who are highly sought-after, and delivering a show of this quality at a premium venue like the Centre in the Square requires pricing that reflects the experience.
That said, I’ve worked hard to structure ticket prices to be fair while ensuring the series remains sustainable. If this series thrives, the vision includes bringing the R&B Chronicles to other cities across Ontario that would otherwise not have this opportunity, ensuring even more fans can experience these unforgettable nights.
